أقامت الكنيسة الإنجيلية الوطنية في علما الشعب مع جمعية تحنّن الإنجيلية حفلًا ميلاديًا في مركز “لقاء” الربوة يوم الجمعة ٢٧ كانون الأول ٢٠٢٤. حيث حضر الحفل إضافة لراعي الكنيسة القس ربيع طالب والرعية المهجرين منذ أكثر من سنة وثلاثة أشهر، كلّ من: القس جوزيف قصّاب، رئيس المجمع الأعلى للطائفة الإنجيلية وأمين عام السينودس الإنجيلي الوطني؛ القس جورج مراد، رئيس السينودس وراعي كنيسة الرابية؛ القس هادي غنطوس، أمين سر لجنة الشؤون الكنسية والروحية وراعي كنيسة منيارة؛ القس الآرشديكن عماد زعرب، راعي كنيسة جميع القديسين الاسقفية؛ ومدير جمعية تحنن السيد أمير بيطار مع فريق عمل الجمعية؛ كما حضر رئيس بلدية علما الشعب السيد جان غفري، ونائب الرئيس السيد وليم حداد.
بدأ الحفل بمجموعة من الترانيم الميلادية قدمها كورال همسة رجاء التابع لكنيسة منيارة؛ كما قدّم القس ربيع طالب التأمّل الميلادي؛ وتوجه السيد أمير بيطار بكلمة إلى الحاضرين.
بعد ذلك حضر الأولاد عرضًا خاصًا بهم، حيث وزعت الهدايا عليهم، في حين كان لبقية الحضور وقت من الشركة حول قهوة وضيافة.
اختتم الحفل بعشاء ميلادي، حيث قدّم القس حوزيف قصّاب كلمة في البداية، وتبعها كلمة صلاة قدمها القس جورج مراد. بعد العشاء قدمت جمعية تحنن الإنجيلية ضيافة مع كارت معايدة لكل الحاضرين.
