In his speech, Rev. The meeting discussed the tragic situation after the earthquake that hit parts of Syria, and the quick response of the churches to stand by the affected people. The attendees unanimously agreed on the position of the Presidency of the Evangelical Community in favor of stability and peace in Syria and Lebanon, and the demands for the speedy election of a president for the republic in Lebanon to regularize public affairs and to get out of the political, economic and social crises from which the Lebanese people suffer.
