In his first trip to Lebanon after his inauguration as a presiding bishop of the Reformed Church in Hungary, Bishop Zoltan Balog the ministerial President of RCH visited the headquarter of the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon (NESSL). Bishop Balog was accompanied by a delegation consisting of Rev. Balazs Odor the Ecumenical Officer of RCH, Mr. Andras Ger general secretary of RCH, and Ms. Dora Appel executive secretary. The delegation held meetings with Rev. Joseph Kassab general secretary and leaders of NESSL intending to deepen the partnership and cooperation between the two sister churches. The Bishop was briefed on the present situation of the churches and the challenges are experiencing in light of the crisis that Lebanon and Syria are going through.
